At a Sitting of the Native Land Court held at Otaki
Tuesday 30th August 1881
Present – E. H. Puckey Esquire Judge W. M. Hikairo – Assessor W. Swanson – Interpreter
Henare Te Herekau asked to have the cases in the neighbourhood of the Manawatu adjourned to Foxton.
James Ransfield asked to have the court adjourned until tomorrow because of the non arrival of many people and because of the want of accommodation in this court house.
Court announced that the adjournment would be granted and that effort would be made to obtain the use of the missionary school room.
Court adjourned until 10 am tomorrow.
