Thursday 8^th January 1880

Court opened at 10 am.

Present – the same

A number of lists were given in but the court had to adjourn in order to ascertain the position of the pa at Pukekaraka.

Court resumed and proceeded to give interim judgement.

The lists ere then handed in and afterwards some were returned to have amended. The whole afternoon was taken up in discussion of lists. 528 names in different hapu’s and court adjourned at 4 pm to 10 pm.
