Pitihira Te Kuru – sworn

I hand in a complete list of names for the Ngati Teau hapu. The list is correct and they are all adults. List No. 1 (10 persons).

List No. 2 - Roiri Rangiheuea – sworn

I hand in a list of names of one section of Ngati Turanga. The list is correct and they are all adults. List No. 2 (18 names) – these persons we wish to go in to a piece of land by themselves.

List No. 3 – Roiri Rangiheuea

I hand in a list of names of another section of Ngati Turanga. The list is correct and they are all adults. 29 names. These persons we wish to go on a piece by themselves.

List No. 4 – Ngati Rakau

Renata Ropiha - sworn

I hand in a list of names of persons in the Ngati Rakau hapu. The list is correct and they are all adults – 16 persons.

Roiri Fangiheuea – sworn

I desire that Hoiriana Roiri’s name should be taken out from the list of Ngati Turanga (29 names) and inserted in the list of Ngati Rakau.

List No. 5 – Another section of Ngati Rakau

Renata Ropiha

I hand in a list of names for another sect5ion of Ngati Rakau hapu. The lists of names are correct and the persons are adults (15 names).

This completed the lists. The court asked if any were insane – none.

Claimants requested that the grants issue to them asw tenants in common.

Court adjourned until 2 pm in order to allow persons to determine whether the individual shares should be equal or ---- protprtions.

Court resumed at 2 pm.

Ngati Rakau hapu – Renata Ropiha stated that in the two subdivisions of Ngati Rakau they wished the land granted to them in equal shares as tenants in commons.

Ngati Teau hapu – Titihira Te Kuru – I wish my share to be the larger and the other smaller. The hapu have not agreed as yet. I should like to have an adjournment until tomorrow.

Ngati Turanga hapu - Roiri Rangiheuea – we wish our two subdivisions granted to us in equal shares as tenants in common.

Court adjourned until next day.
