Karehana Tauranga – sworn
I know this land on plan W.D. 356. – where the railroad touches the river. The place is called Te Hinau a hapainga.
I know Kooro’s peg the cut boundary line extends thence to the government boundary. I don’t know the name of the peg at the south end of the line. Te Kooro’s peg is at Otoko.
The general name of the wood is Te Kohunga and also of the Pakihi. Where the bush meets the river is Te Ara Kiore as is also the whole point of the river. Kopiro is the name of the Penninsula. Te Kopiro is the name of the place where the line 7040 runs out. I don’t know Kaiparuparu.

I recognise Te Hinau. I do not know Kaiparuparu.

Te Pikau is where written in pencil on plans. I do not know Te Koau. I don’t know Hauputaroa.
I was one who gave direction for the survey. I did not go on the ground. I don’t know Kaiparuparu.
After some other discussion, it was resolved to adjourn and proceed to the land for information with regards to certain names of places.
Court adjourned until 10 am on Wednesday.
