Inscriptions on reverse read: “Oxford Street west. From left now Gemini fashions203, Cornish 205 Ox St. Portion of Bradley Bros livery stables on left F C Swanwick” and “W Hannan”

The western side of Oxford Street looking north from mid-way along the street c 1900. The street is unsealed and the plane trees which were planted in 1897 have protective fences around them. The only form of transport is horse-drawn.
