Inscription on reverse is very faint but begins: “Dear Mrs Ransom…..” A message follows but is too faint to read. “W. Hannan” has been written in blue ink across the message.
Oxford Street, north of the Queen Street intersection looking south c 1910. The street is unsealed and plane trees are growing along a grass verge that runs alongside the road. At the centre of the intersection is a gas standard with two lamps. The Post Office is on the left hand side and the Levin Hotel on the right hand side.
