Otaki – July 6^th 1866

At a sitting of the Native Land Court held at Otaki on Friday July 6^th 1866

Present – Thos Henry Smith – judge Te Kaene – assessor

Notice of the sitting of the court hearing been read.

The judge stated that the cases sat down for hearing could not be heard in consequence of there being only one assessor present. The 12^th claim of the N. L. Act requiring not less than two assessors was read and the sitting of the court was adjourned to 10 am No. July 7^th.
