‘Ashleigh’ , the home of James and Clara Prouse, Queen Street East., Levin, c.1900. This photograph shows the two storied wooden house with an iron roof and brick chimneys, set in gardens which flank a long drive. There are outbuildings to the east and south of the house, and the Tararua Ranges are visable in the background.
