Probably taken in the early 1900s this photo shows the intersection of Oxford and Queen Streets with a gas lamp standard in the centre of the intersection. A ladder is against the pole of the lamp standard. The Oxford Street plane trees have protective wooden barriers around them. A bicycle is propled against a pole on the south-eastern side of the intersection.
