Smith – Livery & Bait Stable.

Commercial properties on the eastern side of Oxford Street, Levin, c.1907. From the left is the business of H. Walkley who ran a general and fancy drapery from 1905 to 1925 on this site. Mr E August ran a furnishing factory and shop in conjunction with an undertakers business from 1907 in the shop to the right (south) of Walkleys’. W.M. Clark operated a drapery and menswear store from 1892 in the next shop to the right.
