The cart has small wheels with either solid rubber or pneumatic tyres.

Used in book – “From Bush & Swamp”, page 80, with caption - Milk was delivered by horse and cart, and ladled from cans into billies at each household. There was no pasteurisation, or sterilisation of containers; hygene was very much the responsibility of the individual.

Information on paper supplied with photo, indicates that Mr Hugh Aitchison had a dairy farm in Margaret Street, now Owlcatraz. {2002}
