The premises of W.M. Clark, Importer and Draper, c. 1903. Situated on the eastern side of Oxford Street, this wooden shop replaced the one shown in 2000.018.0137, and precedes the shop shown in 2000.519.0001. A verandah supported by wooden posts covers the outside of the shop which has many of its wares on display. Three men, one woman and a small child are standing on the verandah in this photograph which also shows a hitching rail at the front of the shop. Although the street is unsealed and there is no footpath, metal has been spread infront of the shop.
