The pilot’s light was on a post in Carter Cres, Foxton Beach. Sometime after 1975 it was destroyed by vandals and this battered cover was found in the beach tip.
One brass cover from the pilots light that was at the Manawatu river mouth, Foxton Beach.
Any use of this image must be accompanied by the credit “Foxton Historical Society”
