Water removed from downstream base of No.2 Dam, Mangahao, 1936. Tempory gravel dam below No.2 Dam with water pumped out giving access to base of dam for repairs. Pump on bank with flume to carry the water futher downstream. Man at water-edge handling a length of pipe.
