1960 saw the commencement of our plumbing and drainage service which has progressed steadily and in....
1965, Levin's first Wombat Digger was added to the buisness. This versatile machine increased the range of our drainage service as it was particularly suited for use in confined areas. (picture shows digger being lifted by crane over a garage to operate at the rear of a house).
2nd Photo:
1967 brought the first septic tank cleaning service to Levin which in 1970 advanced to the tanker "Eau de Cologne" used solely for liquid waste disposal.
3rd Photo:
1971-another first for Levin. Rubbish disposal bins-large and small for hire for commercial and household use. The simplest way to dispose of all forms of rubbish.
1979-We opened our office at 98 Oxford Street where all messages are received during business hours. Phone 88-589.

1981 brings another change:
Eau-de-Cologne now has new owners-John and Jean Murray, Railway Terrace, Box 59, Ohau. Phone 87-845.
John has operated the tanker for several years and as owner offers the same prompt and efficient service.
We say thankyou to all out valued customers and confidently give assurance of satisfacation in the future.
The tanker will operate from the premises of Dowd and Taylor Ltd and all messages during business hours will be accepted at the office, phone 88-589.

Coin operated washers and dryers where you may wash and dry your laundry. Or wash only or dry only or take a break-leave it to us to do it for you on our same day service. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:30pm. Saterday, 9am to 1pm. Extended hours in wet weather. Ask about blankets, bedspreads, continental quilts, sports gear, etc.
