Typed on piece of paper glued to back: “(6) First ever car over bridge. Cannot recall whose, but looks like an Essex. (Donated by Tom Kerslake)”

A crowd stands on each side of the road as the first car to officially cross the newly opened Hokio Beach traffic bridge with a young woman standing on the running-board.
