Written on back with black ink pen: “(Deaths & marriages rife here). Dolce says “Jimmy is getting married at Ashton Tins”. So just watch him. Summer weather. Has J. had any thing to do with “pritrick up hear-ah”. Thought perhaps he had been talking too freely of “God’s own Countrys” Hissings, & upset things. Strains of music & smoke concerts reach up from the (“vicarage”). Things have changed. with love, s.c.”
