Written on back with blue ballpoint pen: “Right Grocer Miss Aitcheson Tremewan L to R Bookshop Mrs Vaughan & Miss Conchy Bike shop Charlie Young & Harry Tremewan”

Outside shops, Plimmer Terrace. The three commercial premises were situated on the eastern side of Plimmer Terrace and include a Bookshop (left), with Mrs Vaughan and Miss Conchy standing on the path outside the shop. the centre shop is a Bike shop with Charlie Young and Harry Tremewanstanding outside. The shop to the right is a Grocer’s shop, and Miss Aitchisonis standing outside. These shops have since burnt down.
