Kiri Pepene (Information Research and Local History Librarian), Jennifer Walton (Services to Older Adults Librarian) & Leala Faleseuga (Digital Inclusion Coordinator) visited the Levin Baptist Church's Adult Day Centre, bringing parts of the library out to our community. This outreach visit had a Heritage focus, local newspapers, old photos, elements of the 'Timber, Flax, Flour: The History of Mills in the Horowhenua' exhibition, and the brand new 'Archive Explorer' for the members of the Adult Day Centre to enjoy and use.

Rune de la Croix (5) proudly shows off her dragon colouring in that she did as part of the school holiday programme 'Up, Up, & Away!'

This flight-themed school holiday programme included drop-in craft sessions, drone workshops, and kite-making workshops with Yvonne de Mille.

Levin's famous Father Christmas, in a Covid-19 appropriate mask. In the New World carpark on the corner of Bath St & Oxford St, Levin. 

January 2022.

This Father Christmas was brought to Levin from Christchurch in the early 2000's by Malcolm and Mary Russell.  His once beckoning finger is no longer operational. At 15m tall he is quite the festive landmark.
