Information in book – “From Bush & Swamp”, page 181 states: ... By the early 1900’s there were two blacksmiths estabilshed in Shannon, Joe Retter and later Gilbert Patton on the corner of Vance Street and Plimmer Terrace, and Thomas Lind on Nathan Terrace.
