Description: Three unidentified members of Manawatu Tramping Club assembling Memorial Trig, April 1937 With other members of tramping club spent Anzac Weekend (24-25 April) erecting a Memorial Trig on ‘Twin Peak’ in memory of fellow member Ralph Wood, who died during the ‘big storm’ that occurred on 2-3 February 1936, and was buried near here.
