Man (unidentified) kneeling by recently cemented post, holding shovel with right hand, 2 horse-shoes in left hand, and additional horse-shoes by his feet. The horse-shoes were unearthed by L.B.C. workmen digging postholes in Queen St. on a site once occupied by a blacksmith, Mr Dave Gibson.
