This greenstone koropepe-hei-matau amulet was found in September 1928, by Mrs P.M. Dimock, of Manakau, on the dune-belt at Waikawa Beach. It’s size is approximateley 3 inches by 3 inches, and weighed just over 1½ ounces. {A fuller description and diagram can be found on pages 46 & 47 in the book – “Horowhenua” by G.L. Adkin}
