Lifting roof off St John’s old Church before moving, 1969 1 B&W photo print

St John’s old Methodist Church having the roof section removed to facilitate the building being transported to Waitarere and its later use as a headquarters for the Waitarere Scout Group. 2 cranes (1 at each end of the building) are lifting the roof and moving it to the side of the building. Presumably it will sit on the ground until the main part of the building has been transported & resited.
