Penciled on back - The Capt. and crew of the Indian cruiser Delhi, formerly the Achilles, honoured the oldest veteran of the ship Mr Charles Bond of the Levin War Veterans Home by presenting him with the ship’s new crest, mounted on Indian cedar wood. Thurs. Oct. 30, 1970. [? 1969 see below]

October 1969 appears to be when the ship may have visited N.Z. (see – #.0484), which is the most likely time that the presentation would have been made.
