4 men (unidentified), man at left standing on jiggerboard cutting down tree with an axe, while 2 others (right) are on jiggerboards cutting down a much larger tree (also with axes), while 4th man stands at the base of this large tree holding a jiggerboard. White rectangular area between two jiggerboards is a sign nailed to trunk.
