The main block of Levin State School, Oxford Street, Levin c 1909. The pupils appear to have been seperated into girls who stand on the right and boys who are in the centre and to the left of the photograph. There are a number of adults (possibly teachers) standing with the pupils. The school is a weatherboard building with an iron roof and five brick chimneys. In the background at the right is another school building.
