Used in book – “From Bush & Swamp”, page 129, with caption - The horse drawn brake which transported children from the Kingston Road area to Shannon School from 1906. Methods of transport have changed, and so have the fashions. The brake could accomodate about 12 children, but it would appear that it was not just the Kingston Road children who were caught by the camera.
