Shannon School Jubilee, 1939. A group of seven people gathered at school gates including from left to right:- An unidentified woman, R.J. Law (Chairman Jubilee Committee), E.J. Butt (Mayor), Mrs F. Jamieson, an unidentified woman, Mrs E.J. Spencer. In the front is Bob Gyde the youngest school pupil, who cut the ribbon to declare gates open.
