Taken at the back of Regent Lane, looking towards rear of where Unichem Chemist is now (2007) on Oxford Street.

Harveys Joinery Ltd leased a large block of the land down the nothern end of what is now called Regent Lane, extending from approximately the northern boundary of Regent Court (which replaced Regent Theatre) to almost where the lane sweeps to the west (now occupied by Farmers). 2 end sections were leased to Williams Bakery (tearooms on Oxford Street) and Fred Pink (shoe shop on Oxford Street).
