- Description
Written on back with black ballpoint pen: “Woolshed, near Te Kowhai.”
Woolshed, near Te Kowhai, Queen Street, Levin. 1 B&W photo print.
Built in weatherboard with an iron roof, this is a typical example of a New Zealand farm woolshed. Two multi-paned windows face the road and there is another on the western side of the building. There is also a sash window on the western side of the building. The building is sitting on concrete piles and has sheep pens around the front and western side. The hip roof is longer at the back than in the front.
