IMPORTANT SALE OF FREEHOLD RURAL PROPERTY.
SATURDAY, 4TH MARCH, 1899.
AT THEIR SALEROOMS, PLAMERSTON NORTH.
ABRAHAM & WILLIAMS have received instructions from Robert gardner, Esq., of Kereru, to sell by public auction as above at 1 p.m. -
His valuable freehold property known as Piaka, comprising 906 acres of rich land, situated within two miles of the Kereru Railway Station.
The property is well improved, about 400 acres having been laid down with the best English grasses, the balance being in drained flax swamp, except about 100 acres of bush, and is subdivided into 12 paddocks. Buildings are numerous, and comprise large dwellinghouse with all conveniences, huts for 30 men, dairy, store-room, milking-shed, &c., flaxmill, scutching-shed, and store. There is a good orchard of over 300 trees, in full bearing order.
Mr. Gardner has determined to sell the property at anything like a reasonable price, as he finds it interfere with his duties as Inspector for the Advances to Settlers Department.
