The view across Levin and Lake Horowhenua to the sea. Taken from “Kohitere Forest hills at the eastern end of Queen Street, this photograph shows Queen Street running to Lake Horowhenua and then the dune belt to the Tasman Sea. The area of native bush in the centre foreground is the Waiopehu Reserve. The other section of native bush in the centre of this photograph, surrounds the homestead of James and Clara Prouse.
