Written with blue ballpoint pen on paper glued to back: “Oct. 5, 1910. Wedding of Walter William Scott – 29, labourer, and Lottie Nisbet. At residence of Mr T. Gregory, Tiro Tiro Road, Levin. Later ran Sharp Bros.(Aust.) Cordial Manufacturers, Liverpool St., Levin. 1920 to Palmerston Nth branch (bought it). Railway porter, Petone. Boys went to Kings College.”
Front Row : Mr T. Gregory, Mrs Gregory, W. Nisbet, W.W. Scott (groom), Mrs W.W. Scott (bride), Margaret Jane Nisbet, Mrs A. Tremain (nee Myrtle Scott, mother of Ronald Tremain, composer). Methodist Minister probably Rev. T. Francis Jones and Salvation Army Staff Captain Newbold, first mentioned in Chronicle, Feb. 1911.
Stamped on back with black ink – Horowhenua Historical Society.
