China plate (Hong Kong) with colour photo of Jack Kingsbury glued to it, 1979 Plate probably purchased in Hong Kong during trip to U.K. & Europe in 1979 when photo was taken.

Photo glued over original decorative picture. Chinese characters printed at top with Hong Kong printed at bottom, colourful dragon at left and colourful bird with long tail feathers at right, gold trim on rim. No makers mark on back. Has plastic coated wire & spring holding clip to allow the plate to be hung for display.

Enlarged copy of print from scrapbook (see – #.0009) taken during trip to U.K. & Europe, September 1979. See also – #.0014 (bundle of negatives) for photo envelope with the colour negatives used to produce this enlargement.
