"Three of tlie six flax-strippers at work at Miranui are to be closed down, also A. and L. Seiferts' mills at Piaka. It is understood (says the Manawatu Daily Tirmes) . that Gardner's mill, at Koputerua is also to close down and it is possible that the two mills of the' Koputerua Fibre Company will also shut down later."
