The Group now includes a Cub pack (8-10 years) and the Scout troop (10-14 years) and Levin Venturers, a composite Group from all Levin groups (15-18 years) meets under this Group as well. The census in 2009 listed 12 Cubs, 6 Scouts, four Leaders. The figures in 2010 are 19 Cubs, 14 Scouts, four leaders.

The Group originally operated out of the Kotuku Ship (Hall) on Parker Ave which is now owned by the Savage Club. The lean-to on the side of the building was used to house the boats. In 2001 the Group merged with Kia Maia Group and moved into the Kohitere Scout Hall, which was the hall occupied by Kia Maia and Oranga Groups in the past. The money from the sale of the old hall was used to construct a boat shed behind the Levin Waiopehu Tramping Clubrooms.

The Group has two 17 foot Kauri standard cutters - Kotuku, 1964, and Moutere, 1967. They have three sunburst sailing dinghies. Recent boundary changes has made the group eligible for grants through the Eade-Paulsen trust which has aided repair work on the boats immensely. Sailing and rowing training generally takes place on Lake Horowhenua in the summer months; toxic algal blooms have limited this to the fourth term in recent years. Other waters in our training limits are the Manawatu river estuary at Foxton Beach, and Forest Lakes.
