Emblem medal (pin) – “Good Service” : “C.W.I. For Home And Country”, modern (after 1970?)
Made of brass metal (in 2 parts joined by small brass ring) with colour enamel. Green enamel for background to words “Good Service” (on bar with pin), and for background to words “For Home” (top), “And Country” (bottom) and for fern leaf (centre), over large ‘letter symbol’ (C.W.I.). Red enamel for flower (left) and maple leaf (right). Rest of background enamel is navy (very dark blue). Pin on bar has rotating safety lock.
Made after the movement was renamed the “Country Women’s Institute” (this change occurred in 1952).
Was pinned to embroidered banner (see – #.0020).
