Inscription on reverse reads: “First Methodist Church built in 1876. Foxton”

First Methodist Church in Foxton 1876 destroyed by fire 1912. Nerw church built in Avenue Road. This weatherboard building with an iron roof has a high pitch and stained glass windows. A man wearing a suit and a top hat stands on the steps of the church.
