Mr R.J. Seddon and others inspecting Moutoa Swamp, early 1900’s. This photograph shows two dingies containing a group of six people being held by two men without coats. The man in top hat is Mr R.J. Seddon (Prime Minister 1893-1906), who was inspecting Moutoa Swamp before granting money to drain it. Bill Coley was one of the rowers and the other man who is rowing was a relative.
