Inscription on reverse reads; “The Kennedy about 1927. Given by Miss E J Griffiths 19 Ngata Street. 88569.”

The “Kennedy” aground on an unidentified beach. The vessel has two masts and is also steam powered.

Some discolouration at top of photograph.
