Description

Taken at night this mounted black and white photograph shows Hart’s WestEnd Store and Tea Rooms at Foxton Beach. The wooden store is lit up along the front with electric lightbulbs, and advertising on the front of the store is easily readable. The store has a verandah which is open on the left hand side with a wooden seat and is partially enclosed on the right hand side. A concrete ramp leads into the store.
