Postcard of Main Street Foxton looking north, c.1910. Inscription on reverse states that this photograph was taken before 1912 when the shops on the western side of the street were destroyed by fire. Whytes Hotel shown centre left, was destroyed by fire in 1918. The street is unpaved and a large number of weeds are growing at the side of the street.
