- Description
Mr WR and Mrs HM Wright

LevinDear Bill and Heather
It is with very great pleasure that I extend on behalf of fellow Councillors and staff our congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your 501h wedding anniversary which you celebrate on 6 December 2000. [Bill corrected this to 11 November.]
50 years is a long period of time and much can happen over such years, along with the many changes and growth we all have experienced in that time. You can both be justly proud of the achievements you have personally made over the past 50 year period and the many friendships established. It is equally pleasing to also record that you have both resided in Levin for a very large part of your life and have continued to work in the interests of the District's residents.
I am aware of Bill's many years involvement in the rural sector and in retirement providing support and your acquired knowledge to Council's Levin Sewerage Working Party. Your involvement with Horowhenua Grey Power as an active member and support to the special Olympics organisation is also noted.
As long standing residents of Levin, you are both held in very high esteem and respect and my wife Naumai joins with me in conveying our personal congratulations and best wishes on this special occasion.
The further accomplishment of 50 years of marriage is something to be equally proud of and to you both, your family and many friends we wish you the very best in this milestone year and for many years to come.
Yours sincerely
TF (Tom) Robinson JP
District Mayor
