Roughly cut to oval shape, mounted on card, sellotape on back. Written on back: “Agnes McDonald.”

Formal portrait of Agnes McDonald (nee Carmont), wife of Hector McDonald I, seated on wooden chair, holding booklet. Wearing dark skirt, white lace blouse with dark over-top with leg of mutton sleves and fur trim.

Penciled on back: “The Taieri Dining Rooms, 1913-1917. Tearooms run by Miss McKegg.”

Interior of Taieri Dining Rooms, (1913-1917) which was located on the western side of Oxford Street. The photograph shows white table cloths covering tables which are in front of a fireplace with a wooden surround. There are flowers on the tables, on the mantlepiece and in a pot on a stand beside the fireplace. In the centre of the mantlepiece is a picture , and there are two other pictures on the walls.
