Flora McDonald on horseback

Inscription on front:- “To Mum from Flora 9 3 08.” Inscription on reverse:- Flora McDonald ( Daughter of Hector McDonald, Native Interpreter). She married a Mr Ranald Aloysius MacDonald and lived her life of 82 years in Levin.” Also :- “Rode and drove at A & P Shows also went to the Hunt Club meets.”

Flora McDonald in formal riding outfit including bowler hat, sitting side-saddle on a horse in a garden setting. Flora holds a riding crop in her right hand and double reigns in both hands. The horse has a small white blaze on its forehead and a cropped tail.
