This dress was altered from the original.

1 cream wedding dress, shot through with gold lurex threads to form stripes. Has short sleeves and a rounded neck , a lace yoke and lace trimmed peplums on each side.

Cream silk and lace wedding outfit.

This was worn by Mrs E. J. Murphy, mother of Ted Murphy, at her wedding on 5th October, 1910.

Cream silk and lace wedding outfit (skirt and blouse). Blouse has a high lace neck, square pin tucked & lace edged collar with silk tassels at the points, long pintucked sleeves and buttons up the back. The skirt has a slight train, a centre strip of lace culminating in a silk tassel and an inverted V of lace to meet the lace border 10cm above the hem.
