An elargement of a coloured postcard showing a bullock team pulling a log along The Avenue, north of Levin. The team consisted of ten beasts, with one man, Billy Blows walking alongside the team, while the second man, Happy Russell sits atop the log on the wagon.

A bullock team hauls logs along The Avenue north of Levin, c.1890. Two unidentified men are with the bullock team, one stands at the head of the team with a whip, while the second rides a horse alongside the team. The hills in the background are covered with native bush.

A school bus which was used by the children from Hokio Beach to attend classes in Levin. The man standing beside the bus is Mr W M Clark.
