'Adopt an Anzac' is a project that a few people in Levin took on board after a challenge was put out at the 2006 Anzac Day celebration by ex Mayor Sonny Sciascia.

Photographs and ephemera gathered for the Shannon Centennial celebrations.

A large group of people gathered in the foreground watching the proceedings. Several houses can be seen in the in the background on Nathan Terrace. Richard Roberts' house, 17 Nathan Terrace (3rd from left) is also where Mrs Hannam lived.
