Penciled on back (with photo #.0320b but unrelated to it): “Sawmilling at Kereru, Koputaroa Railway Station. “

The Kereru (Koputaroa) Railway Station stands behind the sawmilling business at Kereru. A number of large logs are in this photograph which features a steam driven engine. In the background are several private homes and native bush still covers the hills behind the station and the houses.
